The idea of "the green heart built away from the coastline" underpins this substantial new civic-scale landscape. Working over five years and with multiple collaborators and stakeholders, the landscape architects have advocated for, and successfully delivered a cohesive public realm network.

The places created were able to accommodate large groups, with ample shade, from 'Day 1', as well as providing more intimate spaces. The design also sits seamlessly within a context that transitions from highly built-up to naturalistic. With a thoughtful approach to planting, and well-integrated storm water management, the parkland will continue to develop as an important community asset.
