The Link is a showcase for how small underutilised spaces and connections can be revitalised to create versatile and adaptive environments blurring the edges of public and private realm. The 'outdoor office' functionality speaks to the changing and diverse needs of the contemporary workplace while the high quality architectural lighting provides for safe and vibrant night time activation.
The kiosk buildings and shade structures offer subtle references to the site's former uses and the lush sub-tropical planting and lawn terraces deliver high amenity. The design team is commended for this great revitalisation and the high level of quality and functionality delivered in The Link.
