This rigorous master plan provides a comprehensive action plan to guide the future of Kangaroo Point peninsula for the next ten years and beyond. A series of strategies address four critical renewal opportunities, and these are supported by an implementation plan that identifies catalyst projects and actions.

Landscape architects worked collectively with planners, architects and economists, and their input ranged from the strategic through to detailed concept design proposals for public realm. With initiatives targeting such diverse elements as public transport, built form, cultural heritage, public art, local business, visual amenity and green spaces, this integrated master plan builds on the characteristics that make Kangaroo Point such a readily identifiable part of the city, and lays the foundations for sensitively enhancing it as a place to live, work and visit.
